I’m reaching out today to see if you would help in raising awareness around healthcare.gov open enrollment for 2018 coverage. Here at Panhandle Community Services we have trained healthcare.gov navigators. Our enrollment navigators provide free, in person assistance to individuals who need help signing up for or re-enrolling in health insurance. To make people in our community aware of the fact that free, local help is available, I’m hoping for your support in sharing the information below. If you have questions or need additional information, please don’t hesitate to reach out. Script: Did you know that more than eight out of ten people who enrolled in health coverage through HealthCare.gov qualified for financial help to make their monthly premiums more affordable? Signing up for a quality insurance plan might be cheaper than you think. If you – or someone you care about – needs health insurance, please call Panhandle Community Services – Amarillo office at 806-372-2531. Trained enrollment navigators are available to provide free, in-person assistance. At your appointment, they’ll talk you through your options and share other important advice, including how to qualify for financial help, how to start an application or how to enroll. Open enrollment starts November 1st and ends December 15th. Don’t miss your chance to get covered.
