Lynn Boitano

Silver Rails co-host

A native of California, Lynn has called Kansas home for a quarter of a century.  Lynn first came to High Plains Public Radio to work as News and Public Affairs Director.  During her tenure at the station she also served as Program Director and host of High Plains Morning.

Lynn’s love of public radio began in college and has taken her to different places including Bosnia, where she helped set up a radio station modeled on the principles of High Plains Public radio.

Today she remains involved as a volunteer co-host of Silver Rails where she is excited to share music of the world in the folk tradition with listeners.  After many years, Lynn still finds the people and landscape of the High Plains intriguing.

Lynn, a 6th grade teacher, resides in Garden City with her 9 year old son Cole.
