HPPR's Songwriter In The Round Series continues on January 25

HPPR's Songwriter In The Round series continues on Friday, January 25 @ the Fibonacci!  The venue is located at 3306 SW 6th Ave.  We'll open the doors @ 7pm, and the show will start @ 7:30.  If you would like to make a  reservation for this show, you can call us at 800-678-7444 or email us at music@hppr.org.  We had some great performances in 2012, and the 2013 schedule is looking spectacular- don't miss a single show!

UPDATE:  One of the artists scheduled to appear in this show-AJ Swope-  passed away  on 1/15/2013.  We here at HPPR wish to extend our condolences to his family and friends.

About The Performers

Gary Guinn

Gary is a veteran of the Amarillo music scene as a member of the Clyde Logg Band among others, and as a solo artist.  He is currently a member of The Prairie Dogs.  Their latest CD Prairie Fire, released last year, features some of Gary's original songs.


Jay & Debbie Weeks

Jay & Debbie have been an integral part of the Amarillo music community for many years, playing in too many bands to count.  They were instrumental in the creation of TexasMusic4Life, a foundation dedicated to helping musicians who have no health care coverage deal with medical bills.  Jay & Debbie's band 2 Weeks have just released their 1st CD 12 Songs Later.

Mike Fuller

Mike is the Music Director at High Plains Public Radio and the host of High Plains Morning.  He is currently working on releasing a live CD, recorded at the Fibonacci last summer.
