Sighting in Rifles and Bows
Shots can be in close range or from quite a distance, and out here on the high plains, your gun or bow needs to be ready for both. A general rule is to sight in at different target distances. It is also important to shoot a number of times a week from different positions.
Support for High Plains Outdoors comes from the Dallas Safari Club. Since 1972, Dallas Safari Club has been the gathering point for hunters, conservationists and wildlife enthusiasts. This year’s convention is January third through the sixth. More information can be found online at: biggame.org.
