Following 37 years of tradition, High Plains Public Radio again offers listeners across the High Plains an entire schedule of wonderful Christmas programing of music, word and memories from across centuries of Christmas traditions. Each of the programs is profiled below and are listed in order of nearest to broadcast time. In many cases these profiles include links to further information, playlists, printed programs and options to listen anytime on-line. St. Olaf Christmas Festival: Thursday, Dec 24 at 8 pm CT

St. Olaf College in Northfield, MN

A service in song and word that has become one of the nation's most cherished holiday celebrations. Tickets to the event, which takes place at St. Olaf College in Northfield, MN, are always gone months in advance. The festival includes hymns, carols, choral works, as well as orchestral selections celebrating the Nativity and featuring more than 500 student musicians in five choirs and the St. Olaf Orchestra.
