State of the Union tonight 8pm

Tune to HPPR to hear NPR's coverage of President Obama's State of the Union address tonight. Coverage begins at 8pm CT.

The special will include the President's full address followed by the Republican response, and analysis from NPR’s Washington reporting team.

Join NPR's Michele Norris, Senior Washington Editor Ron Elving, and National Political Correspondent Mara Liasson. Hear post-speech point-by-point analysis of the President's address with NPR correspondents, including John Ydstie on the economy, Scott Horsley on the federal budget, Julie Rovner on health care, Claudio Sanchez on education, Elizabeth Shogren on energy, Tom Gjelten on national security and David Welna on domestic issues. Congressional Correspondent Andrea Seabrook and Reporter Audie Cornish will also provide on-the-scene reports from Statuary Hall.
