KJJP-FM 105.7 is currently operating at very reduced power and signal range using a back-up transmitter. This is because of complicated problems with its very old primary transmitter. Local engineers are currently working on that transmitter and consulting with the manufacturer to diagnose and fix the problems. We apologize for this disruption and service as we work as quickly as possible to restore KJPFM to full power. In the mean time you can always stream either the HPPR mix service or HPPR connect service using the player above or the HPPR app.

On the High Plains, Gas Prices Continue to Fall

Denver Post

Gas prices continue to plummet, now falling to a nationwide rate of $2.29 per gallon. The Denver Post reports that Colorado prices are slightly higher than the national average, at $2.55 per gallon. Kansas prices are just below the national average, at $2.16 a gallon, according to the Garden City Telegram. But in Texas prices have dropped to $2.07—22 cents below the national average, notes the Pampa News.Oklahoma fares even better; at $2.06 a gallon the prices are the lowest there in over a decade.  Some gas stations in Oklahoma show prices as much as twenty cents lower than the state average, according to Oklahoma City’s KWTV.

The national average is expected to keep moving lower as we head into the fall, barring any supply shortages or unexpected spikes in the price of crude oil.
