KJJP-FM 105.7 is currently operating at very reduced power and signal range using a back-up transmitter. This is because of complicated problems with its very old primary transmitter. Local engineers are currently working on that transmitter and consulting with the manufacturer to diagnose and fix the problems. Kansas Secretary of State race is neck and neck

Recent polls seem to say the race for the office of Kansas Secretary of State is tighter-than-expected.  Incumbent Republican Kris Kobach is leading Democratic challenger, Jean Schodorf but only by single digits.  Kansas Public Radio’s J. Schafer talked to both of these candidates.
